You may submit lab work through insurance company if that is easier for you. Insurance companies have strict rules in paying for testosterone treatment.  They have a high tendency to approve either low doses, or outrageous injection schedules. Some insurances want you to get a testosterone shot in office, twice a month so the office can bill you for a visit each time. This adds inconvenience to you. Who wants to go to see a doctor twice a month and waste an hour out of their day, when you can do this at home in less than 3 minutes? Furthermore, administering a high testosterone dose infrequently gives you lots of unwanted side effects. You will be more hormonal then your wife with the ups and downs of your hormone levels.
